Anyone who wants to. TABC On The Fly offers an official, state-approved TABC certification course for sellers and servers of alcoholic beverages in Texas, but anyone can sign up and take the course.
All TABC certificates across the state of Texas are valid for 2 years, at which point they expire permanently. To remain TABC certified, you have to re-enroll in our online TABC certification course and receive a new TABC certificate.
Our online TABC certification course is only $8.99 plus a mandatory $3.25 certification fee charged by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, which is collected by us. That means the total is only $12.44, which has been our price since our first day in business.
Indeed there is. At the end of each chapter you will take a quiz consisting of five (5) questions. Per TABC rules, you must answer at least 4 out of 5 questions correctly to continue to the next chapter. After the 4th chapter, you will take a standardized Final Exam consisting of 25 multiple-choice questions. Per TABC rules, you are allowed two (2) attempts to pass the Final Exam with a minimum score of 70 to be issued a TABC certificate. If you fail Final Exam A, our website will immediately direct you to Final Exam B. If you also fail Final Exam B, our website will immediately direct you to start the course over from the beginning.
