TABC On The Fly respects your privacy. When you visit our websites and online platforms that link to this Online Privacy Notice (collectively, “Online Services”), we may collect personal information about you to provide our products and services, operate, evaluate and improve our business, and otherwise fulfill our mission.   • Other information you choose to provide, such as through emails or other communications, forms, applications, registrations, surveys and features on the Online Services.

AUTOMATED DATA COLLECTION

When you visit our Online Services, we may collect certain information by automated means, such as cookies, web beacons, web server logs and other technologies. We may use these automated technologies to collect information about your equipment, browsing actions, usage patterns and location, such as your device IP address, unique device identifier, language preferences, referring or exit URLs, general location information, information about your interactions with our Online Services (such pages visited, links clicked, features used, dates and times of access), and other information about your web browser, device and operating system.

Your browser may tell you how to be notified when you receive certain types of cookies or how to restrict or disable certain types of cookies.  Please note that without cookies you may not be able to use all of the features of our Online Services.

  • Notify you or your employer of upcoming certificate expiration dates or other issues affecting your certification;
  • Assist you in successfully completing our course;
  • Administer our Online Services and personalize your experience on the Online Services;
  • Advertise and market our business, programs and initiatives;
  • Administer your participation in surveys, promotions or other programs;
  • Process payments;
  • Perform analytics and market, trend or statistical research;
  • Operate, evaluate and improve our business (including developing new programs and initiatives; improving and analyzing our programs and initiatives; managing our communications; and performing accounting, auditing and other internal functions);
  • Maintain and enhance the safety and security of our programs and services, prevent misuse and troubleshoot technical issues;

INFORMATION WE SHARE

We may share personal information we collect through the Online Services with relevant state agencies where required to do so by applicable law.  For example, the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission requires TABC On The Fly to share certain personal information of our course participants. We may also share your certification status with your employer.

We may also share your personal information with our affiliates and business partners for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice.  In addition, we may share personal information with service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as technology and communications, payment processing and billing, advertising and marketing, analytics, fraud protection and data security, and others.

We may disclose personal information (1) if we are required to do so by law or legal process, such as a court order or subpoena; (2) in response to requests by government agencies, such as law enforcement authorities; (3) to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights; (4) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical or other harm or financial loss; (5) in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity; or (6) otherwise with your consent or as directed by you.  We also reserve the right to transfer personal information we have about you in the event we transfer all or a portion of our business or assets (including in the event of a merger, acquisition, joint venture, reorganization, divestiture, dissolution or liquidation).

To the extent any linked online services or third-party features are not owned or controlled by us, we are not responsible for the information practices of these third parties.

CHILDREN’S PERSONAL INFORMATION

The Online Services are designed for a general audience and are not directed to children. In connection with the Online Services, we do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
