TABC Certification Online News: 7 ETX stores fined after sting

Seven more stores, along with their employees, have received violations and fines after a sting found them violating rules taught in TABC certification online classes.

The TABC conducted the sting in partnership with law enforcement authorities in Longview focusing on off-premise stores like convenience and grocery stores. While it is not known how many total stores were put to the test, we know seven failed by selling alcohol to a minor working as part of the operation.

The Longview Police Department slapped the employees with criminal charges and the TABC issued administration violations to the stores.
